In a collaboration with Schmidt's Deodorant, Active Minds is aiming to highlight the power of connection through hugs! The #HugMore initiative was made to help people express self care and connection through a simple moment shared with another.
UCF Active Minds Named RSO of the Month!
UCF Active Minds was awarded UCF Kort's RSO of the month in November! Active Minds worked hard for the entire month of October, especially during Mental Illness Awareness Week, to provide interactive activities on campus relating back to mental health. UCF Active Minds' Mental Health Open Forum
On December 2nd, UCF Active Minds held a Mental Health Open Forum, a chance for students to come out and listen to or speak about their own mental health journeys. We had a great turnout for the event and are proud of the brave UCF students who came out in support. GKCO!

The Best New Organization of the Year Award celebrates an RSO that was created within the current academic calendar year, that has shown significant growth, and has had a large presence within UCF during the short time that they have been active.
